How can you not fall in love with Adam Rodriguez smile? Even though I am not a huge fan of CSI: Miami I was a huge fan of Adam Rodriguez! He is best know for his long running role as Eric Delko on CSI: Miami and has been pretty busy since the show ended in 2012. He has landed roles in Necessary Roughness, Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, Reckless, Lovesick and About Last Night to name a few.
Earlier on in his career he started out in a drama/romance movie called Love and Debate. The movie was based on decisions everyday teenage girls have to make. He played Elias, a Latino-Jewish boy who is set up by his parents with Jordan Landa, played by Gina Philips.
He landed roles in shows like NYPD Blue, Brooklyn South, Law & Order, and Felicity. He grew up in Yonkers, New York in the 70’s and 80’s. His parents are Janet, an airline ticket agent, and Ramon Rodríguez, an executive with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. His parents are Puerto Rican and Cuban descent.
Rodriguez’s dream was to be a professional baseball player, but after a high school injury, he turned his focus to acting and performed in a children’s theater in New York. While he was studying acting he was a full time stockbroker.
He met and started dating singer Melanie Fiona 2009 and dated her until 2012. He has one daughter named Frankie Elle Rodriguez with the beautiful model Grace Gail, and she was born in 2014.
