My Story
I've been clean and sober from a heroine and cocaine addiction for almost 8 1/2 years. I don't drink or smoke herbs either.
Needless to say I'm still trying to find my place in this strange and beautiful world. I'm learning to not place materials and people above myself, this coming from the tendency to do so. It enables me to look for genuine friendships and the ability to detach myself from people or things that are causing me emotional wreckage.
I'm a pretty simple guy. I will admit that I'm a little lost in my life right now, but I know the importance of human connection and interaction.
I'm not sure if perfect is even a relevant term, I'm just who I am. I made it to the 9th grade, I've had a driver license, never been a relationship, I have 6 felonies for drug possessions- when I got clean I stopped getting in trouble, I'm a little scared of the world- all the judgment, preconceived notions, afraid of being misunderstood.

Ideally you would like to get to know people as people and not afraid to set boundaries. Be up front about friendship vs. (Bro)romance- that line gets blurred too often. Be honest when dealing with the heart- yours or anyone else's. We can't control other people's mental processes, but we can control our honesty towards them.
