Troye Sivan was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to Australia with his family when he was only two years old. Currently residing in Perth, Western Australia, he is best known for his singing, songwriting, acting and his YouTube channel. Sivan was fifteen when he came out to his family that he is gay and three years later publicly came out through a video on his YouTube channel on August 7th, 2013. Watch it here:
Sivan played the young James Howlett in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, and recently acted in the Spud film trilogy. His YouTube channel is a huge hit with over 3.6 million subscribers and well over 2 million views.
Back in 2014 he released an EP called TRXYE and hit number five on the Billboard 200. On December 4, 2015 he will be releasing his debut studio album called Blue Neighbourhood.The album hit number one in preorders on iTunes in over ten countries.
