Miguel Ángel Silvestre was born in Castellón de la Plana on April, 6 1982. He was a professional tennis player, and while he was competing in Hungary he suffered a career ending injury. He retired from tennis and studied kinesiotherapy. After his aunt introduced him to the theater he found his passion and left his studies to pursue an acting career. He studied drama, physical theater, modern dance and acrobatics before he won the Mister Castellón pageant in 2002 (below). He is best known for best known for his role on the television series Sin tetas no hay paraíso, from 2008-2009.

He starred in Pedro Almodóvar’s film I’m So Excited in 2013 and in the Spanish horror thriller Verbo in 2010. He currently plays Lito Rodriguez, a closeted Spanish actor living in Mexico City. In the series he has a secret boyfriend named Hernando (played by Alfonso Herrera). In the series Hernando loves Lito very much but when Lito makes a bad decision to keep his acting career safe and their love under wraps, Hernando decides to leave the relationship, crushing Lito’s world.Miguel Ángel Silvestre loves being active and spending his time at the beach surfing. On Monday, June 15, 2015, the Spanish Sun-Times reported Miguel Ángel Silvestre and girlfriend to be shopping for engagement rings. For the rest of us that crush on this Spanish hunk I guess we have Lito and Hernando’s love story to hold onto.
