Matthew Joseph “Matt” Dallas was born on October 21st, 1982 and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona with two younger brothers and one younger sister. Matt Dallas came out as gay in 2013 when he announced his engagement to his musician boyfriend, Blue Hamilton, on his twitter account. The two have been quietly dating since 2009.

When Matt Dallas first saw a performance of The Ugly Duckling at the age of 12 he fell in love with acting and knew he wanted to pursue an acting career. He is best known for playing the main character on the family show Kyle XY. The show is based on a teenager who wakes up in a forest naked just outside Seattle, Washington, with no knowledge or abilities than a newborn would have and no belly button. He is taken in by a family and given the name Kyle.

Dallas plays Fitch Douglas, son of a millionaire and Riley’s boyfriend in Season 2 on Baby Daddy. The show is about a man named Ben who finds out he has a daughter after a one night stand. Ben decides to raise his little girl with help from his family, brother Danny, mother Bonnie and his two close friends, Riley and Tucker. The show debuted on June 20, 2012 and airs on ABC Family.

He is currently filming a movie called Paradox that releases November 4th, 2015. The movie is about a theoretical physicist who builds a quantum suicide machine to jump through parallel universes to find another version of his wife after she was killed by a hit-and-run driver.Matt Dallas has been in a few music videos including Geek Love by Fan 3, Goodbye My Lover by James Blunt, It’s my Belly Button by Rhett and Link. He is good friends with Katy Perry and starred in her 2009 music video Thinking Of You. The video is based on a flashback montage about a young woman who lost her lover in France during World War II.
