Being single for many years people always ask me why I am not with someone. I always respond with, “I don’t need to be with someone to be happy or fill any kind of void.” I want to spend my time with someone who is really special to me. I believe that if I was in a relationship with someone who isn’t the right person for me then I am not being authentic to myself and being available for when the right person comes along.

Earlier this year a friend of mine wrote this message on social media that really hit home with me about how people judge you for your actions on being single:

“I don’t normally rant on here, however, I find it so astonishing how people will judge you. I’ve been single for a number of years now so clearly there must be something wrong with me? This is so stupid and have heard it more than a few times! So many people need to have a partner in their life for whatever reason they choose. LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR! I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! I don’t need to go in and out of relations to finally find the right one. I’m comfortable with who I am and if I felt the need to be in a relationship I would get out there more.” ~ Sean

Now onto the love stories! These stories warm my heart and give me hope that I will find someone one day. Who know maybe I will have a YouTube channel with an “Our Story”! A boy can dream!
