Chris Hyndman of CBC’s Steven and Chris show found dead

Hyndman, originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, grew up in Paradise, Newfoundland. He worked in the makeup department of the Hudson’s Bay Company before becoming a makeup artist for CityTV. Christopher “Chris” Hyndman and Steven Sabados first met in a bar in Toronto in 1988 where they debated feminism. They both worked at Citytv and moved in together three months later. They have been in a relationship since the move. The two decided to not go public until 2007 and they later married in 2008 and remained a couple until Hyndman’s death on August 3rd, 2015.

Chris always had an opinion and a smile. I loved hearing him laugh and fell in love with his bold personality right away. Sending prayers out the the families and friends of Chris Hyndman. He will be dearly missed!
