As a child of the eighties I grew up watching Chad Allen in shows such as Punky Brewster, Webster, Tales from the Darkside and the list goes on. I always had a huge crush on him and continued to watch him into the 90’s.
Chad Allen Lazzari was born in Cerritos, California, USA on June 5, 1974. He started acting at the age of seven and was a teen idol during the 1980s as David Witherspoon on Our House, and as Zach Nichols on the sitcom My Two Dads. He later played Matthew Cooper from 1993 to 1998 on the show Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman. 
In 1996 Allen was outed as gay by US tabloid The Globe when a photo surfaced of him kissing another man at a house party. Allen has since became an LGBT activist.
Chad Allen announced his retirement from acting in April 2015. He has decided to focus his energy on his passion for well being and human growth and becoming a clinical psychologist, an avenue where he can help young gay people. 
Chad Allen has been dating actor Jeremy Glazer. The two met in 2004 and both appeared in the film Save Me in 2007, about a young gay man addicted to sex and drugs who hits bottom. Jeremy Glazer was born November 1, 1978 and has been in many film and television series such as ER, 7th Heaven, Veronica Mars and Num3rs to name a few.
