It’s been a while but AllMale is back with more gay slang terms that you may have no heard before. In the past we’ve covered everything from cottaging to rumpy rumpy and now we’ve got even more. Can you guess them before you read the definition. Check your knowledge on gay terms.

Zanie

Don’t get this confused with zanie. This slang term is actually for something very simple. It literally just means gay man. It was coined in the 19th century. This is probably one you haven’t heard as much because it’s used very minimally on the internet.

Warm Bruder

This slang term comes from Germany. If you’re German you’ve most definitely heard it used but if not this term might be foreign to you. It’s the same as zanie and is just another slang way of referring to a gay man.

Orphan

This means somebody who has recently been broken up with. You might see it on dating profile and more often than not in that case it means looking for a rebound. I think this one could really be used for any person gay, straight, bisexual etc.

Ice Cream

Another term that I believe could really be used for any sexual orientation but this one is cute and simple. It means someone so sweet that you could lick them.. or just eat them right up. I definitely want to make this one more mainstream.

Hetty

This one is self explanatory but I included it because it sounds like the name of a chicken to me. It’s not a term for gays but rather a term that gays use meaning heterosexual. You get it? It’s just a short form but also sounds way cooler.
